[𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤] The College of Technology conducted its Student Orientation on August 20, 2025, at the CT Lobby of the University of Southeastern Philippines. The activity underscored the College’s commitment to providing its stakeholders with clear and proper information dissemination. Acting Dean Dr. Alma Mae G. Salinas officially welcomed the first-year students and provided an overview of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology program. Additionally, Ms. Cindy C. Moldes, Head of the CTLRC, conducted an orientation on the library services available. She guided students on accessing the procured software and book resources in the University Library.
An orientation session was led by Associate Professor Jovenel E. Bontilao, Program Head of BS Industrial Technology, who presented the wide range of services offered by the College. The discussion covered University and College academic policies, faculty evaluation, and student services. The session aimed to guide students in understanding academic requirements, introduce them to the faculty and support staff who will journey with them throughout their stay at USeP, and provide information on the Audio Visual Presentation for the Gender and Development Office in the University.
Mr. Joseph G. Villarmino, Local Council Adviser, emphasized the vital role of student councils as platforms for voicing students’ ideas. He also highlighted how active participation develops leadership and teamwork among students.
In his closing message, Associate Dean Dr. Orvil M. Basug reiterated USeP’s and the College’s dedication to their academic excellence, transparency, and community transformation vision. He reminded students of the value of collaboration and shared commitment in serving the community.
