Excellence walked proudly through the halls of the University of Southeastern Philippines Tagum–Mabini Campus as the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) topnotchers in the Elementary Level paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Chancellor on May 18, 2026, at the Administration Building, USeP TMC, Tagum Unit.
The four outstanding Agila educators were formally recognized during the campus flag ceremony: Ms. Ann Kristine Dela Peña Danlag (Top 1), Ms. Hanna Jane M. Molina (Top 7), Ms. Maricel T. Erispe (Top 9) and Mr. Dave Mhar P. Abaniza (Top 10).Joining them were College of Teacher Education and Technology Dean Dr. Mildin J. Retutas, Bachelor of Elementary Education Program Head Dr. Arnulfo S. Masong, and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education Program Head Ms. Shirley Marie V. Llorente.
After the flag ceremony, the top achievers gathered at the CTET Dean’s Office for a brief talk and catch-up with Dr. Retutas before visiting the Chancellor’s Office for a courtesy visit. This gathering served as both a celebration of their academic achievements and a moment to reflect on the journey that led them to national recognition.
During her visit, Chancellor Villanueva praised the top achievers for their determination, resilience, and steadfast commitment to their dreams. She emphasized that their success serves as proof that perseverance can help overcome personal struggles and challenges. This inspires students throughout the University community to pursue excellence with discipline and purpose.
