Our SoM faculty members — Dean Dr. Victoria R. Patiño-Guillano, Dr. Andrea Isabel Contreras, Dr. Bea Diaz, and newly accepted faculty Dr. Lea Hingpit — proudly represented the University of Southeastern Philippines at the PDS Annual Convention and the 12th Asian Scientific Meeting in Pediatric Dermatology, held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Manila, from November 4–7, 2025.

Dean Guillano was honored with the ILDS 2025 Certificate of Appreciation in Humanitarian Dermatology by the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS).

Dr. Andrea Contreras presented their study, “Clinicodemographic and Healthcare Resource Utilization Profile of Pediatric Psoriasis Patients in a Tertiary Public Hospital in Southern Philippines,” chosen as Editor’s Pick, co-authored with Dean Guillano.

This participation strengthened collaboration, research exchange, and professional growth — all geared toward enriching medical education and inspiring our students to connect dermatologic science with compassionate care.
