𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝘀𝘂𝘁𝗮, a 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 (𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗶𝘁) student of the College of Arts and Sciences, for being selected as 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗟𝗦𝗨 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 organized by the 𝗕𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗡. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗕𝗡𝗦𝗖𝗪𝗖) 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗗𝗟𝗦𝗨).

Mr. Garsuta, will attend an intensive two-day workshop, scheduled this August 14 and 15, 2026, at the Roofdeck, Henry Sy Sr. Hall, De La Salle University Manila. This workshop will bring together all promising young writers from across the country for an immersive exploration of the art and craft of screenwriting.

Throughout the workshop, Mr. Garsuta will engage in a creative environment that encourages thoughtful revision, meaningful dialogue, and critical reflection. As he continues to develop his voice as a screenwriter, the experience offers an important opportunity to further develop his craft alongside fellow emerging writers from across the nation.

Every screenplay is shaped through revision, reflection, and a deeper understanding of the stories it seeks to tell. Mr. Garsuta’s selection affirms his dedication to this creative process and reflects the USeP MALit program’s enduring commitment to nurturing writers whose works continue to enrich Philippine literature and the creative arts.
