An intern from Spain arrived last January 18, 2025, for a six-month practicum program at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) with the College of Education (CEd) as the host college. Part of their initial engagement was a courtesy call to the University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr., on January 20, 2025 at the Office of the President. He was also welcomed by the College of Education Dean Dr. Raquel D. Almasa, and the Associate Dean, Dr. Abigail A. Navales.
The foreign intern is a recipient of a scholarship from the Basque Government of Spain. He is bound to engage in the various functions of education. Hence, this internship aims to develop their academic, research, intercultural extension, and production functions as educators.
