In celebration of the Philippine Army’s Founding Anniversary, the Regional Cyber Defense Exercise 2025 was successfully conducted online on October 25–26, 2025. The event aimed to promote career opportunities in cybersecurity and to strengthen collaboration among the military, academe, and civilian sectors in advancing national cybersecurity.
More than 20 participating schools under the 10th Infantry Division (10ID) Category of the Philippine Army showcased exceptional skills in cybersecurity, programming, and problem-solving.
BSIT students from the College of Information and Computing, University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), emerged as winners and exhibited outstanding technical proficiency across various domains, including Cybersecurity Threats, Cryptography, OSINT, AWS Cloud Security, SQL Injection, Linux, and Steganography.

Team ZyBer will represent the 10ID Division in the qualifying round of the 2026 TRON Cup, the national-level cybersecurity competition to be held at the Philippine Army Headquarters, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. This milestone reflects USeP’s ongoing efforts to prepare students for meaningful contributions in the field of cybersecurity.
