The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) proudly marks its 47th Founding Anniversary with the theme “USeP@47: Building Dreams. Elevating Excellence. Empowering Communities.” The weeklong celebration, set from December 14 to 17, 2025, honors the University’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, service, and innovation that uplift communities across Mindanao and beyond.

The celebration opened with a symbolic University-wide kick-off program dubbed as “Pagpupugay” on December 1, 2025 setting the tone for this year’s festivities. The event paid tribute to the institution’s humble beginnings and its continuing journey as a trailblazer in higher education, research, and development communication.

At the College of Development Management (CDM), the tree and campus lighting ceremony served as a meaningful gesture of solidarity with the entire USeP community. Faculty, staff, and students came together to celebrate the University’s 47-year journey, symbolizing the College’s shared commitment to building a vibrant and sustainable academic environment. Led by Campus Dean Dr. Aristeo C. Salapa, the activity reflected CDM’s active participation in honoring USeP’s legacy and looking forward to a future shaped by collaboration and service.

As the anniversary week unfolds from December 14 to 17, various institutional events will be organized across campuses, inviting participation from students, faculty, alumni, and partner communities. These activities aim to showcase the collective achievements of the University while reinforcing its mission of excellence and empowerment. Through these shared celebrations, CDM joins the entire USeP community in commemorating not only the milestones of the past 47 years but also the continuing pursuit of growth, innovation, and meaningful community engagement.
