The celebration began with a 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬, where faculty members, staff, and students gathered in solemn thanksgiving for the blessings and achievements of the past year. The Mass set a reflective and hopeful tone, grounding the community in shared purpose and values that continue to guide CDM’s work in development and education.

Following the Mass was the 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, a dedicated space envisioned to promote collaboration, student engagement, and belongingness among CDM students. The center’s blessing marked a new chapter for the college, the one that empowers learners and future development leaders to connect, grow, and lead meaningfully.

Throughout the college’s activities, Dr. Ma. Luisa B. Faunillan, Vice President for Administration, joined and celebrated with the CDM community, showing her continued support for the college’s initiatives and milestones.

A major highlight of the morning was the 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐨 𝐂. 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐚, who will conclude his four-year term of service on December 31, 2025. In his address, Dr. Salapa shared the college’s key accomplishments under his leadership, including strengthened research programs, successful accreditation undertakings, and enhanced student services. His heartfelt message captured CDM’s progress and the shared dedication of its faculty and staff.

The college celebration concluded with a 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬, honoring graduates from the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics programs. The newly licensed agriculturists were joined by their proud parents, whose presence made the moment even more special as the community celebrated their shared success.

In the afternoon, the CDM community joined the entire University for the 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟒𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐔𝐒𝐞𝐏 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐆.
