Congratulations to 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓. 𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐨 𝐉𝐫., a 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 (MALit) student of the University of Southeastern Philippines, for being selected as one of the twelve outstanding fellows for the prestigious 10𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐞ñ𝐚-𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 under the 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 category.

Organized by the 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐧: 𝐔𝐏 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, the workshop is a nationally recognized literary program dedicated to mentoring emerging Filipino writers in various genres of creative writing. Named after National Artist Amelia Lapeña-Bonifacio, the workshop continues her legacy of nurturing writers whose works contribute to contemporary Philippine literature through meaningful storytelling, cultural reflection, and artistic excellence.

Mr. Grumo’s achievement reflects his dedication and love for literature and storytelling. Being chosen as one of the fellows for this prestigious workshop shows the strength of his writing and the passion he continues to pour into his craft. Through his works, he brings stories to life in ways that resonate with readers and inspire fellow writers to continue honing their own voices.

As a MALit student of the University of Southeastern Philippines, Mr. Grumo continues to prove that talent, hard work, and commitment to the literary arts can open meaningful opportunities.
