The Agricultural Research, Technology, and Innovation Center (ARTIC) is the research center of the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences (CARS) that aims to enhance the research, development and extension capability of faculty and student researchers in the field of agriculture, biosystems engineering, agri-based food processing, and forestry. This facility will support a research-based and gender-responsive instruction program of the college geared towards developing improved agricultural technologies and farming innovation that focuses on green technology in the form of systems, processes, products (food, fiber, tools, equipment, and forest products), thereby contributing to the attainment of agricultural and ecological sustainability.

The center envisions to become a leading institution in research and innovation on green technology in the field of agriculture, aquatic and natural resources in Mindanao. It also aims to provide a facility that will enhance the research, development and extension capability of faculty and student researchers in the field of agriculture, biosystems engineering, Agri-based food processing, forestry and environment resources management.

In support to the instruction programs of the college, the center will be a venue for students, faculty members and industry to collaborate on research, technology development, transfer and commercialization that benefits the academe, industry, government, and community.
