Aligning institutional priorities with concrete targets and resource requirements, University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) officials and key personnel convened for an Operational Planning Workshop on September 7, 2026, at the USeP Social Hall, Obrero Campus.

The activity focused on the formulation and refinement of the University Operational Plan for Fiscal Year (FY) 2027, with discussions centered on aligning annual operational targets, programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) with the University’s Institutional Development Plan (IDP) 2025–2027 and Strategic Plan 2022–2027.

University officials, planning coordinators, budget officers, and other key personnel participated in the workshop to ensure that proposed targets and PPAs are responsive to the University’s strategic directions, performance indicators, development outcomes, and available resources.

The workshop also provided guidance on planning policies, planning templates, investment programming, target setting, PPA prioritization, and the alignment of budget proposals with institutional priorities.

Beyond internal planning, the activity supports the University’s compliance with the planning and monitoring requirements of national oversight agencies, including the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev), and Commission on Higher Education (CHED), as well as mechanisms related to State Universities and Colleges (SUC) Leveling and institutional performance monitoring.
