As part of its commitment to excellence in education and industry readiness, the University of Southeastern Philippines Malabog Extension Campus (USeP MEC) hosted a comprehensive Pre-Business Plan Implementation Seminar and Orientation on September 11, 2025, at the Fr. Balaquinto Hall, Barangay Malabog, Paquibato District, Davao City. This event was a remarkable gathering that showcased professionalism, knowledge sharing, and community spirit among 4th-year students of Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSE) and faculty members.<\/div>\n

The event was started by a warm welcome message from Dr. Noelyn D. Bahian, BSE Off-site Program Head. The day featured a series of insightful sessions focused on key aspects of professional workplace readiness. Mr. Romel L. Tambis, Deputy Director of the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD), spoke on the importance of professionalism and workplace etiquette, highlighting how proper conduct can positively impact career advancement. He was followed by Engr. Michael V. Machica, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Management Unit (IPMU), who highlighted the significance of protecting innovations and intellectual property. Lastly, an inspirational message from Mr. Romeldo R. Barwado, Barangay Councilor of Paradise Embac, Paquibato District, inspired the attendees to strive for excellence.<\/div>\n

In the afternoon, the event also featured symbolic pinning\u2013symbolizes the transition from academic preparation to the responsibilities of future entrepreneurial leadership. It is both a celebration of the students’ achievements and a forward-looking acknowledgment of the practical challenges and opportunities they will face as emerging entrepreneurs and community innovators.<\/div>\n

The program was further highlighted with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing new beginnings and opportunities for the students. This was complemented by a lively live band performance that added energy and celebration to the event. The day concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Rolen A. Bocog, USeP\u2013MEC Coordinator, who encouraged students to embrace their upcoming field exposure with confidence and professionalism.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
