Strengthening Gender Advocacy Through Regional Collaboration

The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) continues to reinforce its commitment to fostering gender equality by actively participating in the Region XI Gender Advocates’ Network (RGAN XI) 2nd Quarter Meeting and Planning Activity on June 22–23, 2026, at Brokenshire College, Davao City. Representing the University is the Gender and Development (GAD) Office led by Director Dr. Genesesly R. Tahoy, GAD Staff Mr. Robert Joshua L. Sante, and Dr. Leah O. Pelias GAD Advocate Their participation reflects USeP’s unwavering dedication to promoting inclusive, gender-responsive policies and programs that create meaningful impact within the institution and the wider community.

Through collaboration with fellow GAD focals person and directors across the region, USeP aims to strengthen institutional partnerships, exchange best practices, and contribute to the advancement of sustainable Gender and Development initiatives. By engaging in planning activities and strategic discussions, the University reaffirms its role as a champion of equity and inclusivity, ensuring that gender-responsive governance remains at the forefront of its mission to transform communities in the ASEAN and beyond.
