USePCEd researcher wins two Best Research Poster Awards at International Physical Education Convention 2026
The University of Southeastern Philippines proudly congratulates Dr. Pearl Ann M. Mancao for winning two Best Research Poster Awards during the 2026 International Physical Education Convention organized by 1PhysEd.Ph Training and Development Services on May 5–9, 2026, at USeP Obrero Campus, Davao City.
One of the awarded studies, “Teacher Interpersonal Behavior and Physical Self-Perception as Predictors of Situational Interest in PE Among University Students in Davao Oriental,” was conducted in collaboration with Mr. William Rafael Pregunta of Davao Oriental State University.
Dr. Mancao also received recognition for her study titled, “Exploring Indigenous Children’s Play Among Obu-Manuvu in Baguio District, Davao City: Input to Curriculum Integration.”
The awards recognized the outstanding visual presentation and scholarly excellence of both research posters, reflecting USeP’s commitment to research, inclusive education, and innovation in support of Sustainable Development Goals 4: Quality Education and 10: Reduced Inequalities.
