The Bachelor of Secondary of Education (BSEd) is an undergraduate teacher education program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach in their chosen area of specialization/major in the secondary level.  The BSEd degree program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for secondary education.

BACHELOR OF ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

 

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) is an undergraduate teacher education degree program designed to prepare individuals intending to teach in the elementary level. The BEED degree program aims to develop highly and motivated competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education. After successful completion of all academic requirements of the degree/program, graduates of BEED should be able to practice the teaching profession in the elementary level.

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) program is designed to prepare students for teaching and supporting young children’s development. A broad range of employment opportunities are available by fulfilling the degree requirements. Completion of the program will qualify graduates for employment in government or private institutions locally, nationally and internationally.

BACHELOR OF SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION

 

The Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) undergraduate teacher education program prepares teachers who will instruct and manage students with additional needs in inclusive and segregated educational settings. Its graduates will be equipped to teach the Basic Education curriculum and alternate curricula depending on the needs of the students. Students will be trained to teach across different subject areas and provide educational support to students with additional needs in inclusive classrooms or provide educational services to students who may be enrolled in special education centers.
Students in the program are to develop a solid foundation on the theories, principles and pedagogy in teaching learners with additional needs in inclusive educational settings.

BACHELOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

 

The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) is an undergraduate teacher education program that equips learners with adequate competencies in the area of physical education and its allied fields (exercise and sports sciences, social and behavioral sciences) that are essential in employing interdisciplinary instructions as a means to permeates all aspects of the learners lives and develop them integrally.
The BPEd program aims to develop highly competent graduates specializing in Physical Education. After completion of all academic requirements of the program, graduates should be able to practice the teaching profession in the field of Physical Education.

The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) is an undergraduate teacher education program that equips learners with adequate and relevant competencies in the area of technology and livelihood education. The BTLEd program aims to develop highly competent and motivated teachers in Technology and Livelihood Education in their area of specialization.
The technology and livelihood education curriculum shall impart a body of knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and experiences that will provide prospective Grade 7-0 TLE Teachers with the necessary competencies essential for effective teaching and at the same time are accredited TVET Trainers and Assessors.

BACHELOR OF TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL TEACHER EDUCATION

 

The Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) is a comprehensive four-year degree program and board course that offers students a broad range of knowledge and skills needed to teach technical and vocational courses such as Automotive, Civil and Construction, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, and Heating, Ventilating, and Air-conditioning technology.
The BTVTEd program’s main objective is to equip students with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of teaching and technology, ensuring they are well-prepared to teach technical and vocational courses with competence and confidence. By providing a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes pedagogy, instructional design, and subject matter expertise, the BTVTEd program is designed to produce highly competent educators possess the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as technical vocational teachers.
