The College of Business Administration successfully conducted the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Training on February 9, 2026, at the 2nd Floor Conference Room, TLE Building, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This whole-day activity forms part of the students’ Pre-Deployment Training, aimed at equipping them with essential knowledge, values, and skills anchored on the Filipino brand of hospitality and service excellence, particularly in service quality, customer satisfaction, and service recovery.
The program commenced with the Registration facilitated by the Secretariat Committee, followed by the Audio-Visual Presentation during the preliminaries. Opening Remarks was delivered by Ms. Stephanie F. Palconit, setting the tone for the day’s learning sessions.
The training modules were expertly handled by Dr. Suzette C. Quico, covering:
• Module 1: The Philippine Tourism Industry Situationer and the FBSE Journey
• Module 2: The 7M’s of Filipino Hospitality and Service Excellence
• Module 3: Delivering Excellent Service using the G.U.E.S.T. Technique
• Module 4: The Heart of Service Recovery
Engaging Open Forums were facilitated by the hosts, allowing active participation and discussion among the trainees.
The afternoon concluded with the Awarding of Certificates, led by the Event and Group Heads, followed by the Closing Remarks delivered by Ms. Alyzza Real E. Dumangas. The activity formally ended with a Photo Opportunity organized by the Documentation Committee.
The training was further strengthened by the presence of representatives from the Department of Tourism, Ms. Wilfrena Mae Lopez and Ms. Althea Mikaela Sarmiento, who observed the conduct of the training and showed their support for the FBSE program.
