As one of only sixteen participants, Mr. Medroso will join an intensive film laboratory in Metro Manila this August 9 to 14, where internationally acclaimed filmmakers and industry experts will mentor emerging directors in script development, project pitching, and international co- production. The program is designed to help participants refine their film projects and prepare them for broader industry and international opportunities.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mr. Medroso will participate as the director of Lasto (Last Two), a dark comedy produced by Tin Velasco. Throughout the boot camp, the project will undergo further development through mentorship and collaborative workshops, marking another important step in its journey from concept to screen while highlighting the growing presence of USeP creatives in Philippine cinema.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

From literature to cinema, Mr. Medroso continues to demonstrate how compelling storytelling can transcend artistic forms. His selection reflects not only his dedication to the craft of storytelling but also the strength of USeP’s creative community in nurturing artists whose work continues to gain recognition<\/div>\n
