Bringing pride to Region XI and the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), Ms. Irish Ale Peja Pregua, a fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Plant Pathology at the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences (CARS), emerged as champion in the 4th National Kabataang OA Quiz Bee held at the Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City, on November 25, 2025.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

With the theme \u201cKabuhayang OA, Kinabukasang OK: Halina at Kumita sa Organikong Agrikultura!\u201d, the competition underscored the vital role of young Filipinos in advancing organic agriculture. It challenged participants to broaden their knowledge of ecological farming, sustainable food systems, and environmentally friendly agricultural innovations.<\/div>\n

Delegates from 14 schools nationwide competed, transforming the national stage into a dynamic arena of knowledge, advocacy, and youthful enthusiasm. Pregua\u2019s success was made possible through the strong support of the Agricultural Training Institute\u2013Regional Training Center XI (ATI\u2013RTC XI), together with her dedicated coach, Ms. Lira May A. Sibongga, and Engr. Ariel D. Abastillas, ATI\u2013RTC XI Focal Person, whose guidance and mentorship elevated the team\u2019s performance throughout the competition.<\/div>\n
